About MLH – Magda Lund Hansen

For more than 20 years, Magda Lund Hansen has created and run Akikik – a passion for Greenlandic culture, craftsmanship and design.

The adventure began on November 1, 2004 , when Magda launched www.akikik.dk under her husband's name. At the time, the range consisted of fabrics for national costumes, decorative ribbons and beads , but over time, both experience and ambitions grew.

Today, Magda is the sole owner of the company, which now also includes handmade jewelry and her own designs , inspired by Greenlandic nature, history and culture . Each piece of jewelry carries a story that connects tradition with modern elegance.

Magda and Akikik are also an active part of cultural events in both Denmark and Greenland. You can meet her and her jewelry at:
